‘Tis the season…to get married!
Earlier this month, we created this tiered wedding cake featuring red layered starbursts. Our bride, Marlena, was getting married in a cozy Manhattan restaurant and wanted a wintery theme of red and white.
She wanted some red sugar starbursts with delicate red dots surrounding each one.
Of course, we added their wedding date in the back of the cake.
We also made 300 mini starburst cookies in red and white for the reception – but we forgot to take a picture of them! Duh.
Our bride and groom were very happy with their cake – so much so – that the NEXT day, Marlena wrote us this amazing review on WeddingWire.com :
Cake was delicious and looked fantastic. But not only were the cake and cookies great, but Jenn was an amazing communicator and everything with her was seamless from the get-go.
